Our Academic Programs
Prodyumna Institute of Higher Education offers two flagship teacher training courses, both recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated with esteemed educational bodies:
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed): – Affiliation: Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU), formerly known as The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration.
– Overview: Our B.Ed programme is designed to equip aspiring educators with the knowledge, skills, and values required to excel in the field of teaching. The curriculum blends theoretical insights with practical training, fostering innovative teaching methodologies and a deep understanding of educational psychology.
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) :– Affiliation: West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE).
– Overview: The D.El.Ed programme focuses on preparing teachers for primary education, emphasizing child-centric pedagogies, classroom management, and holistic development. This course is tailored to meet the growing demand for skilled primary educators in India.
Both programmes are designed to nurture compassionate, competent, and forward-thinking educators who can inspire and shape young minds.
The Prodyumna Institute of Higher Education was founded under the visionary leadership of Mr. Asim Biswas who leads a life of spiritual, a dedicated social worker with a passion for uplifting underprivileged communities. Mr. Biswas established an ASHRAM named SWAMI NIGAMANANDA YOG SADHAN/ANANDA DHAM on a sprawling 10-acre campus, where he provides free education, yoga, meditation, and daily necessities to the residential poor children comes from across INDIA. This Ashram fosters an environment of holistic development, blending academic learning with spiritual and physical well-being, all without any fees. His commitment to social welfare and education forms the cornerstone of our institute’s ethos.
Located in the heart of Bankura district, our college is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Joypur forest, creating a serene and inspiring setting for learning.
